Cornwall Twestival 2011
Cornwall Twestival Local gets underway at Starbucks
24 March 2011

Twestival Cornwall got off to a great start last night with Nocturnal Networking at Starbucks, Chiverton Cross. It was a slightly odd sight, seeing everyone in their pyjamas but a great time was had by all in a very unusual location for that time of night. Everyone was full of energy and excited to be part of the countdown to Twestival Cornwall 2011.

While we supped on delicious coffee and hot chocolate, our special guest Twitter Bear, added a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to the evening and was happy to pose for photos. Who knows where else he will be for Twestival Cornwall this year!

The pyjama party also marked the start of our 'Guess The Number of Coffee Beans' competition which will run throughout the day - all you need to enter is your business card and a small donation with a special prize for the winner.

It was truely an amazing start to what will be a fantastic event - big thanks to the staff at Starbucks Chiverton Cross for all the effort they went to and for donating the proceeds from all the drinks. Also, thanks to pr4photos and Sideways Cornwall.

pr4photos was set up by Cornwall based professional photographer Paul Richards in 2009.

Paul has experience in a wide and diverse range of photography disciplines.  From press, PR and commercial work through to wedding, portrait, food, restoration, exteriors, interiors, events, and automotive photography.

pr4photos provides photography services to clients across Cornwall and Devon and Paul’s images are regularly used nationally and internationally.

Paul has been involved with Twestival and acted as the official Cornwall Twestival photographer for the past two years.  Paul said: “I’m delighted to be involved with Twestival again this year as the official photographer. It’s great to work on a project like this, led by volunteers and raising money for charity. The events this year look the best yet so I hope we can raise a lot of money for Cornwall Community Foundation.”

Sideways Cornwall showcases the best Cornwall has to offer the discerning individual; high quality video guides promise an insight into the most inspiring, beautiful and must see aspects of the county.

The videos are compiled by their film makers and contributors around the county who live and breathe Cornwall, ensuring all the information within their guides is as up to the minute as it can be so you can relax and enjoy.

Sideways Cornwall have kindly offered to support Twestival Cornwall 2011 by filming the evening event - we are so excited to have them onboard and are looking forward to the video they produce.
